Alone again (naturally)

Ok, I stole the title from a song by Gilbert O'Sullivan.  It's NOT natural.  But last Thursday (with not much time), Mitch was advised that he needed to go to (near) Atlanta for hands-on training. He should have had this when he started his job last March, but that's when the pandemic hit.  Now that he's off disability and things are getting better, the company required him to have this training. Unfortunately, they are still concerned and thus required everyone to DRIVE to the training center rather than fly.  It was a 7 hour drive, plus stops at rest areas.

So he left on Sunday (May 2) and will be home (B"H) on Friday, May 21... 3 weeks away!

We both miss each other but are happy for the internet where we can chat and video each other daily.

Meanwhile, regarding the car.... I still need to burn at least another 1/2 tank of gas before I can have the recall fixed. Not sure how that's happening yet.  Mitch also hates the audio system which isn't compatible with Android Auto.  We bought a replacement system to be installed this week at Best Buy but now there's yet another part they need.  This is turning into a major pain in the ass. Personally, I'm happy connecting via Bluetooth, but he feels that the display is useless.  I hope we can get this resolved before he returns home in 3 weeks.
