Update

 August 16, 2020

Times are interesting news-wise.  The country is still reeling with the coronavirus although many people (especially here in FL) have gone back to life as before and think it's all a hoax.  Mitch and I are doing everything we can to stay safe.

I have hip replacement surgery scheduled in about 2 weeks: Aug. 25th.  Mitch will not be allowed to even enter the hospital: he can only drop me off at the front door.

I've had problems with my eye: redness, lots of pain, tearing, sensitivity to light.  Saw a teledoc who said it was pink-eye and gave me antibiotic eyedrops.  After 4 days of it not helping, went to an ophthalmologist who said it was uveitis which is an inflammation of the uvea of the eye.  He gave me a steriod and dilation medicine.  After 3 days, I do seem be having great improvements which is wonderful news.  Still not where I need to be, but definitely better.

Need to keep counting our blessings for all that is GOOD in our lives.
